Marlene S. Skogerboe, 72 year old resident of Braham, MN passed away December 19, 2022 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Athens Lutheran Cemetery.
Marlene was born on March 2, 1950 in Pine Center, MN to Shirley and Ed Snodgrass. She was raised and grew up in the Pine Center area. Marlene also lived in Minneapolis, then Coon Lake, Isanti, and Braham. She worked many different jobs including Bluefox Tackle, Weber Bar, Main Street Pizza, Jolly Tapper, Creamery Café, Menards, and Cambridge Hospital. Marlene met Ron in November of 1971, and the couple was united in marriage on February 11, 1972 in Watertown, SD. She loved listening to and watching Elvis, owls, movies, and playing games on her phone.
Marlene is survived by her children, Rhonda (Tim) Magnuson, Jeff Skogerboe, Lonnie Short, Bill Short; grandchildren, David (Sarah) Herman, Karla (Travis) Hansen, James Herman, Corey Short, Courtney (Mike) Hansen, Amial Iverson, Ashley Iverson, TJ Magnuson, Jacob Magnuson, Liz Magnuson; great-grandchildren, Payslee, Nickales, Noah, Isaiah, Jackson, Bryce, Zander, Aaliyah, Ezra, Kayson; lots of nieces & nephews; sister-in law, Margie (Myron) Leis; many friends; and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; brother Thorman; sister, Elaine; son, EJ; step-son, Will; and step-daughter, Anne.
