Bryan was born in Mora, MN on June 7, 1981, to Michael and Jane (Tarvin) Ingebrand. He enjoyed his growing-up years – often sparring as young boys do – with his older brother, Michael, and his twin brother, Joe. Bryan attended high school in Mora, graduating in 2000.
He attended UMD, graduating in 2004 with a degree in Organizational Management. He also attended the United States Sports Academy, graduating in 2006 with a Masters of Sports Science.
Bryan’s life-long love of football began as a young boy watching the Minnesota Vikings with his dad and his brothers. His love of “the game” grew while playing high school football. As part of his college education, he served internships at Hermantown High School as Coach/Scout, at Our Lads Scouting and as Player Liaison at the Senior Bowl in Mobile AL, and also with the Minnesota Vikings. As an adult, his passion for the game continued. He followed both Professional & College football intensely. He continued to return to Mobile, AL annually to work for the Senior Bowl during game week, every year for the past 17 years.
Bryan also thrived on time spent with his friends and family. He loved to hang out, share good food, and have conversations with the people in his life. He enjoyed working out and spent lots of time at the gym where he developed a great group of friends. An annual tradition that Bryan looked forward to was the family walleye fishing trip to Canada, where the guys enjoyed a daily routine of favorite meals, fishing, playing cards, and swapping fish stories. Bry also loved chocolate and had a reputation for bringing decadent chocolate desserts to family gatherings. Bryan was employed by Loffler Companies, where he served as Client Support Manager.
He will be dearly missed by his family and all who loved him. May God bless his memory.
Survived by parents, Mike & Jane; brothers, Michael (Anelisse), Joseph (Claudia); grandmother, SuzAnn Tarvin; nieces, Theja & Lanah Ingebrand. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph Tarvin and Marcelline & John Ingebrand.

I am sad to hear this. Bryan and I were roommates and friends at UMD. We loved hitting the gym together and ending workouts by slamming a few raw eggs;) I have so many good memories of him from those years. I will be remembering him and his family in my prayers.

I am so incredibly sorry and sad to hear of the passing of Bryan. Bryan and my husband were roommates at UMD and close friends, Bryan was a groomsmen in our wedding. He was so kind and had a heart of gold. You didn’t have to know him long to realize his passion for football, food and chocolate! I always remember how proud he was of his niece (who would now be an adult!) and he would show me pictures of her and tell stories when I would be over at his house in college. He loved his family so much. Thoughts and prayers with you during this difficult time.

I met Bryan or Iggy as we call him freshman year of college. We were walking back from class together and struck up a conversation about the Vikings. Later on in college we became roommates and we have been friends ever since.
As Iggy’s roommate I learned many lessons from Iggy including the following:
1. College tests don’t always have the same answers from one test to another.
2. When filling up an ice cube tray you must fill it all the way to the top, otherwise you are wasting everyone’s time.
3. When cooking pizza rolls it is important to line them up in rows on the tray to make sure the maximum amount of rolls ended up on the tray. He would then proceed to eat them all himself.
4. When playing Madden it is most important to draft height and speed. You cant win 77-0 consistently with slow wide receivers!
5. Somehow it is possible to memorize the 40 yard dash times and bench press totals for every player in the NFL draft.
6. Apparently drinking raw eggs doesn’t make you sick.
We also had many great conversations regarding food. Whether it be Pizza, Caesar Salads, Eggs, Truffles or trying to decide where to go for happy hour, Iggy would always provide us with a complete breakdown of what we should eat at each restaurant along with the pros and cons of different restaurants. Over the years we had many fun meals, drinks and conversations at Old Chicago, Grizzley’s, Grandma’s, Buffalo House along with many others.
Cheers Iggy, you will be missed!

To the family and friends of Bryan. I am so sad and sorry over the loss of Bryan. I met him at LA Fitness in Edina a few years ago and always enjoyed conversing with him about family, sports, fitness, rental property and travel. Bryan was very engaging and had great stories about past experiences. Talking to him at the gym was an added bonus to the day’s workout. He will be missed. I will toast Bryan’s friendship and memory with a big chunk of chocolate. God bless.

This is such a big loss for everyone that knew Bryan as well as the lives he inadvertently touched. I was lucky enough to spend some fun times with him enjoying good food and conversation. He always had a big smile on his face, a kind word, gentle nature, and a big heart. He was really good at noticing and lifting others up at work and making sure they had what they needed to succeed. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
