Cynthia “Cindy” Skrypek, age 69, of Cambridge died June 24, 2023 at home. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 15th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge with visiting time one hour prior.
Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Skrypek was born March 12, 1954 to Phillip Olson and Donna (Langsdorf) Hansen. Cindy and Charlie were married in 1972 and lived in Coon Rapids. Charlie was a welder, which gave Cindy the opportunity to stay home and raise their two kids, Melissa and Jason. She loved being home with her kids. Being home allowed Cindy to follow her passions and explore her hobbies which included gardening, doing all crafts, collecting Betty Boop, antiquing and listening to music and dancing, She had a very special bond with her mom, they were best friends. Cindy had 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren that she loved to spend time with, as well as her 2 fur babies Lola and Max. Cindy died June 24, 2023 at home at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her father, Phil; Dad, George (who raised her); grandparents, Irene and Everett; husband, Charlie; son-in-law, Michael. Cindy will be deeply missed and remembered by her mom, Donna; daughter, Melissa (Blake); son, Jason (Jamie); grandson, Harley; step-grandkids, Michael, Melissa, Miranda, Charlize, 11 great-grandkids, brothers, Dave, Randy (Rita); sister, Shelly (Bob); also many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
Mom I know it’s only been a short time but I miss you so much already I feel really lonely. You are my best friend that I could talk to about anything I don’t know but I’m going to do without you. I know that I will never let you leave my heart or my thoughts and I will continue to talk to you everyday as if you were right here with me. Thank you for being the absolute best mom a woman could ever ask for I love you Mommy . You’re loving daughter Melissa.
