Rosemarie Gaddis, age 90, of Cambridge died June 18, 2023 at United Hospital in St. Paul. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 24th at Christ The King Catholic Church in Cambridge. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery followed by a lunch at the parish hall.
Rosemarie was born January 3, 1933 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Isadore and Lucille (Schmitt) Schaedler. She attended grade school in Minneapolis and while in junior high their family moved to Royalton where she graduated from high school. Rosemarie continued her education in nursing. On May 29, 1954 she was united in marriage to Robert Gaddis at Holy Cross Catholic Church in North Prairie. The lived in Minneapolis until moving to Cambridge in 1968. They were long time members at Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cross-stich and watching birds.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert; sons, Michael (Paula), Timothy (Catherine), and David (Cindy); sisters, Carol (Gene), and Judy (Jerry); and by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, James; and a brother, Donald Robert.
