Paul C. Zilmer was born July 15, 1957 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Clarence and Esther (Swenson) Zilmer.
Paul loved raising birds, it made him so happy you would never find him in the house until he came in for bed. He had to take a break from raising birds a couple times, but kept getting back into it. When he moved out to his Uncle Arvin and “Ma’s”, that was the last time he was able to find his true happy place again.
His grandkids meant everything to him. In Fact, he never cared to talk to his kids on the phone, just always asked for one of the grandkids. Love you too, Paul. All he wanted was to be able to walk again so he could go to a sporting event or spend more time doing family things with his boys.
Paul passed away July 3, 2023 at the age of 65 at Aspen Adult Foster Care in Cambridge. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved dogs Buddy and Misty.
He is survived by his two sons, Brad (Natalie) Zilmer and Scott (Christy) Zilmer; daughter, Jackie Taylor; grandchildren, Kendall, Payten, Rielyn, Emilyn, Bryson, and Brooklyn; and other family and friends.
The Family would like to give a special thank you to Aspen Adult Foster Care for sticking with Paul and being a big advocate for him.

So sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. Worked together at Coca-Cola in Eagan for many years. Paul was a good guy with a great sense of humor. He’ll be sorely missed by his many friends at Coke.
