Darryl R. Snabb, age 60, of Isanti died unexpectedly at home September 27, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 6th at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service.
Darryl Reed Snabb was born January 23, 1963 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Avron and Shirley (Hanson) Snabb. He grew up in the Minneapolis area and graduated from Irondale High School. On August 25, 1984 he married Kathy Marty, his childhood sweetheart in her hometown of Princeton, Minnesota. In 1989 they purchased a home in Isanti where they have lived ever since. Darryl was skilled at carpentry and built an addition on the house and constructed a garage. He worked as a machinist several places over the years. He was a hard worker and provided for and watched over his family. He enjoyed hunting, remote control cars and being a husband, father and grandfather. Throughout the 39 year marriage Darryl said he hated cats but recently changed his mind and got his little buddy, “lollipop”.
Darryl passed away unexpectedly September 27, 2023 at home at the age of 60 years, 8 months and 4 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Debora Seelen.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; children, Cory (Rae) Snabb, Kyle Snabb, and Kaira (Chris) Schwantes; granddaughters, Riley, Sierra, Josephine, Chole and Paislee; sister, Jewelee (Daniel) Cloutier; and by other relatives and friends.
