Debra “Deb” Lindberg, age 66, of Pine City, died September 23, 2023 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4 PM – 7 PM Friday, September 29th at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti.
Debra Jean Lindberg was born July 20, 1957 in Cambridge, Minnesota to Wilbur and Marjorie (Marose) Oker. She grew up and attended school in Isanti and Cambridge. On October 8, 1975 she married John Charles Lindberg. They were blessed with three children, John, Chad and Wendy. Deb worked as a cook at the Isanti VFW and Spectacular Events. She was also a Crossing Guard for the schools district. Deb was well known and loved by many in the community. She enjoyed crosswords, word finds, fishing, garage sales, riding on the pontoon, the deer at their deer farm, and especially spending time with family and the grandkids, also engaging in playful banter with her husband for 49 years (ha ha).
Deb passed away September 23, 2023 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 3 days after a courageous battle following heart surgery. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, David and Dennis Oker; sister-in-law, Becky Oker; and brother-in-law, Gilbert Peterson.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John; 3 children, John (Joey) Lindberg; Chad (Deanna) Lindberg, and Wendy (Ryan) Gooden; 9 grandchildren, Jerret, Emma, Tyler, Brandon, Autmn, Dustin, Ashley, Brook & Wyatt; great-grandson, Ryker: brother, Larry Oker; sister, Cheryl Peterson; niece, Missy Peterson; and by many other relatives and friends.

Deb was an amazing person and I’ll never forget the wisdom she shared with me and I have been blessed to have known her.
