Elly Nelson (Cloutier), age 59, of Cambridge died September 26, 2023 at home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 3rd at Strike Life Tributes in ISANTI. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service.
Elly was born May 20, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Leonard and Irma (Schwitalla) Cloutier. She was raised in Cedar and graduated from Blaine High School. On August 12, 1989 she was married to Ronald Edward Nelson. In 2002 they purchased a home in Cambridge where they have lived ever since. Elly worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Merwin Drug in Andover. She enjoyed her job the people she worked with and helped. Elly was a very social person, she was always the first to come and the last to leave events. She loved life and wanted to take it all in. Elly enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, and anything outdoors. She adored children and loved being around them. She also made many friendships through “The Blinged Riders” online jewelry group. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Elly is survived by her husband, Ron; daughter, Catherine Nelson; granddaughter, Andreah Bergman; brothers, Donny (Sandy) Cloutier, and Dennis (Nicky) Cloutier; sisters, Susan (Virgil) Callin, Barbara (Fred) Luedtke, and Dawn Cloutier; and by many other relatives and friends.
My Elly. I lost another part of me when you went to Heaven. You were and Are SOOOO loved and will always be with me. Now run, be free and with Our Lord. Find my Carebear and wait for me together.
I miss you terribly my love, my best friend. To all who knew you, or just met you, you brought warmth, joy, happiness. My love for you will never fade, and you will always be the sunshine of my life. You are free again.
I will miss you. You are now free to fly with the lord. You will be in my thoughts. You are now and always be in my heart. The little things we did when we were younger I will never forget.
