Dan Strombeck, age 61, of Isanti died unexpectedly October 2, 2023. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 1 – 3 P.M. Sunday, NOVEMBER 12th at the Isanti Community Center.
Daniel Walter Strombeck was born December 1, 1961 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was raised in Isanti and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1980. On July 5, 1985 Dan married Dorinda Darling and they made their home in Isanti. Dan was a retired union member with the 49ers where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and mechanic. Dan loved driving equipment, fixing it, ice fishing, deer hunting and golfing. He also enjoyed creating and inventing things. Spending time with the grandchildren was one of his favorite things to do. You could find him at any one of their countless sporting events watching baseball, soccer or bmx.
Dan passed away unexpectedly October 2, 2023 at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 1 day. He was preceded in death by his father, Deloy Strombeck; father-in-law, Bill Darling; brother, Mark Strombeck; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Eklund.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dorinda; three daughters, Kim (Terrell) Farley, Heidi (Andrew) Sindt, and Kelly (Rob) Wolff; mother, Bonnie Strombeck; mother-in-law, Donna Darling; three siblings, Mary Eklund, Darla Strombeck, and Jeff (Dee) Strombeck; five grandchildren, Caleb, Amelia, Hunter, Riley and Teagan; and by many other relatives and friends.
