Shelia and Wayne ( Ryan) were friends of ours way back in Alexandria. Our weddings were a month apart. The last time we saw them was when they came here to Fargo for our daughter’s wedding in 2004. I did try to write and stay in touch with Shelia, but we lost contact over the years. I remember how caring Nicole was with her parents when they came here. I tried to write to her a few times – but staying in touch can be difficult. When I read this news obituary, my heart was so sad. I was searching for her, thinking to try and write again – and , too late. I will send a card to the StrikeLife Tributes for the family. If they would like any old pictures of their parents, I can try to find some and mail them. We sure enjoyed our friendship with Wayne and Shelia. You will be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. My memories of Sheila revolve mostly aground our escapades as teenagers. These include starting smoking together, boys, giggles, late nights and my still not being able to look at whiskey sours. Sometimes they included our cousin Pat but, she wasn’t as foolish as Sheila and me. I had the pleasure of being Sheila’s maid of honor when she and Ryan married. We were close for many years but, life eventually got in the way. I regret the years we didn’t keep in touch. I know Sheila is a peace and her family can share many wonderful memories of her.

We didn’t know Sheila very well, but she always had a smile and said hello whenever we saw her outside. We will miss her as a very good neighbor!
