Dorothy Faye Martin, age 96, of Isanti, died November 24, 2023 at home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 29th at Strike Life Tributes in CAMBRIDGE. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Dorothy Faye Martin was born February 19, 1927 in Princeton, Minnesota to Riley and Mary
(Thomas) Veal. She was raised in Princeton and during the depression she learned to work hard
at a young age. She worked on the onion bogs in Princeton and then went to Chicago at age 16
to work making token holders and candy. On October 25, 1944 she married Floyd Martin in
Princeton. She lived on the family farm for 79 years in Bradford where they made their home and raised their family. Besides being a homemaker and farming, she worked in housekeeping at Cambridge Memorial Hospital until her retirement. She loved shopping and also enjoyed crocheting, playing Yahtzee, traveling with Ellie, and watching game shows and westerns, especially Gunsmoke.
Dorothy died November 24, 2023 at home while with her loved ones at age 96 years. Besides
her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd (1997); daughters, Marlys Lindquist
and Elvira “Ellie” Martin; all of her siblings; son-in-law, Zan LeMon; and grandson, Daniel
Lindquist.
She is survived by her son, Gerald Martin; daughter, Bonnie LeMon; 10 grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Dorothy was an amazing woman. I met her threw my mom Marlene when they worked together at Cambridge memorial hospital. I wish I would of known sooner where I would of been able to pay my respects rest in peace Dorothy.
