Jimmy (Jim) Berg, age 74 passed away at the Princeton Elim Home on February 12, 2024. He is survived by the love of his life Susan Baker, brother Jack Berg (Susan), sister Janae Berg (Carol), brother-in-law Ralph Nissen, nephew Mike Nissen, niece MaryBeth (Jeff) Havrilla, niece Jenna (Bruce, Ezra, Toryn & Heath) Dehn, nephew Zack (Ashley) Berg and close family relatives Sharon, Johnnie, Amanda, Blake and Carter Bartnick, David and Pam Baker.
Jim loved watching sports of all kinds especially baseball and football. He had an amazing memory knowing all the players and their stats. He also loved watching Nascar and we know he secretly loved watching Hallmark movies. He enjoyed fishing, Country music, spending time in the garage putsing with just about anything, was a master grower of tomatoes. He loved going for pizza and pull tabs and was very predictable when it came to his choice of pizza at Broadway Pizza. Prior to his retirement he worked at Valspar, Hirschfields and Emmerich Truss Company.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Gerhard (Smokey) and Solveig (Sal) Berg, sister Judy Nissen, close family relative, Tami Weinman along with several other relatives.
A special thank you to the staff at MHealth Fairview Northland Hospital, Princeton Elim Wellspring and St. Croix Hospice for their tender loving care.
Carol says
