Diane B. Jacobson was born March 18, 1947 in Ashland, Wisconsin to August and Susan (Polkoski) Goetsch. She attended school in Port Wing, Wisconsin. On February 22, 1969 Diane married Robert Jacobson in Brooklyn Center and they just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. They lived in Crystal and Coon Rapids before settling in East Bethel in 1975. Diane and Bob were active in the East Bethel community over the years. Diane served on the East Bethel City Council for 12 years and in her younger years was a Girl Scout/Brownie Leader and soccer coach. She worked in banking at Peoples Bank of Commerce and First Bank before working at Minco Manufacturing in Fridley until retirement. Diane enjoyed 4-wheeling, playing bingo, camping, puzzles, and spending time with her grand pups & grand kitties.
Diane passed away March 15, 2024 at GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge at the age of 76 years, just 3 days before her 77th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Susan Goetsch; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Martin and Rose Jacobson; brother, Frank Goetsch; and brother-in-law, Tom Knopik.
Diane will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob; two children, Michelle Jacobson and Jeffrey (Rachel) Jacobson; sister, Doris Knopik; brother, Floren (Marge) Goetsch; sister-in-law, Marge Goetsch; brother-in-law Tom (Janice) Jacobson; sister-in-law, Marge Jacobson; sister-in-law, Betty (Alan) Robinson; brother-in-law, Gus (Barb) Jacobson and by many other relatives and friends.

Dianne was my 1st cousin and shared time 4 wheeling with her and Bob after we retired up North.
She had the spirit of adventure and a wonderful laugh . We were lucky to be out and about the Bayfield County trails together.
