Sandra Clare Barth was born October 31, 1944 in Harlingen, Texas to John and Rose (Folz) Hansen. She was raised in Glendive, Montana and graduated from Dawson County High School in 1961. On December 29, 1962 Sandra married Donald Barth in Glendive, Montana. They made their home in several places in Montana and surrounding area until moving to White Bear Lake in 1985. They have lived in Cambridge since 2021. She worked in real estate and enjoyed visiting with people. Sandra loved going to their cabin in Hinckley, which was her happy place. She was an accomplished artist, enjoyed playing the organ and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She showed her strength through her battle with Multiple Sclerosis and cancer, never losing her sense of humor and smile. She will be dearly missed.
Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Donald; three children, Michael Barth, Dawn (John) LaFontsee and Eric (Molly) Barth; two sisters, June Hansen and Barb (Rolly) Anvik; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; and by other relatives and friends.

I am saddened at the loss of Mrs. Barth. I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person. I came to “know” her through her daughter, Dawn. Mrs. Barth became my “pen pal.” I would try to send her a card every month and I will miss that. My thoughts and prayers are with Dawn and her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing & loving this woman. Dawn, my dear friend – know that I will hold you close in thought always and you & your mother will forever remain near and dear to my heart.

I’ll always remember Sandy as the sweet little blond who was my sister, Kathleen’s, best friend. Thank you, Butch, for bringing Sandy and attending the class of 1959’s 60th reunion in Billings. Her smile and sunny personality lit up a room.
Love,

We met Sandi and Don when we moved into our condo in St Paul several years ago. Sandi was such a bright light. We were so fortunate to know her winning smile and laugh. Such a presence! She will be missed.
Don and Eric and families, we send our sympathy, love and hugs.

I never met Sandra, but one of my oldest friends, her sister Barb, talked and shared her with me many times. Talking of her strength, and how she always had a smile filled with love.
My heart aches for the loss of this beautiful woman, whom her family will always hold in their hearts. May God help heal your pain, as she now has no pain. God Bless…..

Mt deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. I only knew Sandy and Don a short time when they lived in Le Sueur, MN. I enjoyed having them as neighbors and playing board games at the co-op. Sending my Prayers to Don and family.
