John Newton says
I will never forget Ian. He always brought funny stories on bus rides and he was always excited to talk about serving his country. Life gave Ian a really hard curveball. Ian NEVER complained about it. He had ample opportunity. Instead, he stayed positive and always looked for ways to work with whatever came his way. He always brought a smile to my face and I enjoyed our talks about everything from soccer to life. I look forward to seeing him again!
Karla Pemberton says
It was an honor to know Ian. I will never forget meeting your family when you sat behind us in church in Bloomington. The time you all spent in our home was priceless. Gene loved watching the History channel with Ian. One time I remember Ali said it was time to leave. Ian delivered the message to the siblings. immediately everyone sprang into action. Toys were put away. Shoes and coats were put on. Bigs helping Littles. And all were buckled into place in the van in less than 5 minutes! Being around Ian enriched our lives.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love with which he loved us… Has made us alive together with Christ and seated us up with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Eph 2:4-6
