Lester J. Reichenbach, age 80, of Isanti died May 30, 2024 at M. Health Fairview University Hospital. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 14th at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti. A graveside service will be held at 3:15 p.m. at Isanti Union Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Isanti VFW.

Lester J. Reichenbach was born August 2, 1943 in Fosston, Minnesota to Theodore and Regina (Luecken) Reichenbach. He graduated from Fosston High School in 1961. On April 23, 1966 Les married Darlene Trautner in Bejou. They made their home in Blaine for a time and then moved to Isanti in 1973. Les joined the Navy in 1966, serving in Vietnam and was Honorably discharged in 1968. He continued to serve with the Naval Reserves until 1978. He enjoyed golfing; RV travel, and being involved in the Isanti VFW Color Guard, marching in parades, school events, and many funeral memorials. Les worked as a Sheet Metal Worker with Commercial Air and Egan Mechanical for most of his career. He loved family time and being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Papa, as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren called him loved to listen to his many stories, and node in agreement even when they knew he was wrong about something.
Les passed away May 30, 2024 at the age of 80 years, due to post surgical complications. Les was preceded in death by his loving wife Darlene of 57 years. His parents, Theodore and Regina Reichenbach; and brother Teddy.
Les is survived by two children, Michelle (Mitch) Hansen and Kevin Reichenbach; brother, Al Reichenbach; grandchildren, Amanda (Brent) Anderson, Tony (Kayla) Richard, Allison (Brent) MacDonald, Josh Reichenbach, Kyle Reichenbach, Jesse Reichenbach, Krystal (Matthew) Ortt and Nick (Laura) Hansen; great-grandchildren, Preston, Kaitlyn, Piper, Grayson, Clayton, Kealen, Kalen, Ranger, Isla, Zander, Abel, Addison, Nathan and Ava; and by many other relatives and friends.

Sending thoughts and prayers to you. Always enjoyed spending time with Les and Dar. When I was still in school, Les lived with our family for awhile (along with 2 other cousins) and I always thought of them to be the big brothers I never had. Was so fortunate to see them both at the reunion last September. Will miss them both.
