Brian was born June 3, 1974 to Thomas and Marilyn (Winn) Aldinger in Cambridge, Minnesota.
He grew up in the Isanti area and graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in 1992. In high
school Brian spent his time hanging out with good friends and creating mischief. In addition, he
enjoyed participating in Jazz Choir, Track Team, and DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of
America). During this time he was able to travel to many conferences and competitions. In true
fashion Brian’s antics were at play, be it a nerf gun or super soaker, he was behind it.
He met Michelle DeZiel in 1999 when he swept her off of her feet playing co-ed softball, and
they were married August 6, 2005. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Shelby and
Lexi. Brian enjoyed playing softball and being in a bowling league for many years with
Michelle. Most of all Brian loved his wife and his daughters. He was passionate about imparting
his wisdom upon others but above all upon his girls. He also enjoyed spending time with friends,
going to sporting events for his favorite teams, camping with family and friends, archery, hunting and fishing, and teaching his girls to hunt. Brian also found much pleasure in technology that kept him connected and finding new gadgets to ease his way of life. Despite his many
responsibilities, Brian always made time for his family and friends.
Brian worked as a union carpenter for a number of years earlier in life. He went back to school
after his children were born and earned his Associate Degree in Accounting from Anoka Ramsey
Community College. After working in the accounting field for a few years, he then furthered his
education by earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Bemidji State University all while raising a
family. Since that time he has enjoyed working as an accountant, most recently at Atlas Toyota
Material Handling.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Michelle;
daughters, Shelby (16) and Lexi (14); parents, Thomas and Marilyn; sisters, Gwen (Bryan) Kohn
and Kim (Chad) Jasicki; niece, Madeline Kohn; nephew, Braden Kohn; mother-in-law, Rhoda
DeZiel; father-in-law, Barry (Christine) DeZiel; sisters-in-law, Dana DeZiel and Kim Madrid;
and by many other family and friends.

This is truly heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to Brian’s family, friends and all those who had the opportunity to interact with him. I had the chance to work with Brian when he was finishing his degree in accounting. He would pop into my office and give me updates. I remember a passionate man who loved his family and the outdoors.
