In Memory of Jackie Englund

Jacqualyn “Jackie” Englund, age 78, of Isanti died June 19, 2024 at home.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27th at Long Lake Lutheran Church in Isanti.  A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in Long Lake Community Cemetery.

Jacqualyn “Jackie” A. Englund was born September 5, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Jack and Helen (Cottrell) Blaisdell. Her family moved often when she was growing up but most of her childhood and schooling was in the St. Paul area. On June 15, 1974 Jackie married Dean Englund and they made their home in Isanti. Jackie was a caregiver and loved being with and helping her family. She was a very social person and loved talking with everyone. She also loved music, dancing and watching birds.

Jackie passed away June 19, 2024 at home at the age of 78 years, 9 months and 14 days. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; sons, Bart Simonson and Brett Simonson; grandson, Nathan; siblings, Kathy Bussard, Donna Kronholm, Muriel Veres, Mary Holte, and Tim Eckholm.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Jeremy Englund; grandchildren, David (Rhea) Simonson, Torah Englund, Joshua Englund, Adalyn Englund, Tyler (Bernice) Thompson, Heather Thompson, Chris (Penny) Thompson; siblings, Lynnae (Gary) Jones, Cecil (Eileen) Blaisdell, Mark (Elaina) Blaisdell, Sheryl Morris, Tammy (Dick) Wold, Robin (Donny) Albrecht; and by many other relatives and friends.
