Loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and cousin.
He was born in Newport News, Virginia October 12, 1956. Lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at home in Stanchfield, MN with his family by his side. July 22, 2024.
Preceded in death by his parents Royal Herold and Dorothy Huckabee; step-son Shawn Carlson; and brother in-law, Jed Schneider.
Jack will be deeply missed by his wife LoAnn of 48 years and Daughters, Lisa (T.J.) Tharaldson and Sadie (Ryan) Hoffman; grandchildren, Savannah, Devon, Orin, Farris, Evelyn, Landon, Brody, Allie, Charlotte, Jakob, Gavin and Brayden; sisters, Brenda Schneider and Wonda Nelsen; and many other relatives and friends.
Jack was a hardworking man. He worked at Kronick Industries 48 plus years and Star & Tribune weekends 15 years. He was an all-around handyman. Jack had a lot of hobbies and interests, a few of them being old cars, motorcycles, hunting, fishing and camping. He had a love for music and was very talented at playing several different types of instruments, drums being his favorite. His all-time favorite get a way was the Duluth Bayfront Blues Festival with his wife LoAnn and other family members and friends.

He was a very nice guy, worked hard , and loved his family, children and grandkids. He was a gracious host- spent lot of holidays, and other events at his and Lo Ann’s home.
