Hana Rose Spicer, age 29, of Isanti died August 1, 2024 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Her celebration of life will be held at the Isanti Community Center on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 12-4pm.
Hana Rose was born on September 27th, 1994, and raised in the Cambridge-Isanti area and graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School with the class of 2013. She loved playing sports throughout school, with basketball being her favorite. Her grandparents’ log cabin on Garfield Lake in LaPorte, MN, was her favorite place as she referred to it as her paradise. Hana Rose always had a smile on her face no matter the occasion, and you hardly ever could catch her without that smile or spreading her infectious laugh. She met her soulmate Joey Spicer in 2012, and on May 23rd, 2015, she became his wife. Together, they enjoyed being outdoors, making memories with family and friends, and were very active members in their church participating on the softball team and both the men’s and women’s groups. They started their beautiful family with the birth of their son Elijah in 2017 and later the birth of their daughter Sadie Jo in 2020. Hana found a lot of pride in being a mother, and there was nothing she cherished more than her children and being their mother. You didn’t have to know Hana to see the love she not only had for her own children but for all children; especially her nieces, nephews, and god children. Despite the positivity and happiness that Hana radiated onto others and went out of her way to make everyone feel seen and wanted, she had a battle of her own that she hid from many. On August 1st, 2024, Hana Rose lost her battle to addiction, and despite her battle, she always made sure everyone around her could still find the light even when she couldn’t find it for herself.
Hana will forever be missed by her husband, Joey; children, Elijah & Sadie; parents, Jen (Mark) Dewey & Dan Thunstrom; siblings, Sara (Eddie) Albrecht, Phil (Rissa) Dewey, Danny Dewey; 15 nieces & nephews; grandparents, Pam Urman, Betty Thunstrom, Mike Urman; great-grandmother, Betty Swanson; her best friend, Samantha Henderson; her in-laws; many family & friends.
She was welcomed at the gates of heaven by their Angel Baby, Lily Rose; older brother, Christopher; cousin, Brandon; father-in-law, Kevin Spicer; her Grandpa T, and grandparents, Patty & Byron Dewey.

Truly saddened to hear the new of Hanna’S passing. She has a very sweet and kind sole. Many years ago she baby sat my daughter Taylor. They would play in the back yard in a pool with the dogs laughing and screaming dogs barking having a ton of fun.
My hart go’s out to the families.
