It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Cody James Kiefer, age 19, of Oak Grove, MN, who left us unexpectedly on October 7, 2024. Born on November 27, 2004, in Coon Rapids, MN, Cody was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend. A memorial visitation to honor Cody’s life will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge, MN.
Cody graduated from St. Francis High School in 2023. He was known for his quiet demeanor, infectious smile and ability to make those around him laugh. He had a kind heart, was always willing to lend a helping hand, and possessed a great imagination filled with witty comebacks that brightened every room. His love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies, which included fishing, camping, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, and snowmobiling. Cody also enjoyed working on and cleaning his truck, and cherishing every moment spent with friends and family.
After high school, Cody pursued a career in the trades as an equipment operator, looking forward to a future filled with possibilities. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Amy (Anderson) Kiefer; his sister, Hannah; and grandparents Clifford and Cheryl Anderson, Debbie Ronis, and Terry and Debbie Kiefer; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who will miss him dearly. Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Ronis.
Cody, you will be deeply missed, but your beautiful smile, spontaneity and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. Rest easy, Buddy. You are loved.
