Troy Michael Bell, 52, of Isanti, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2024. He was born on December 18, 1971, in Chisago City and was a long-time resident of the Cambridge-Isanti area, where he formed lasting friendships and cherished memories. Arrangements are pending.
Troy began his career as a butcher at Reichel Bros in Isanti, working alongside his dad for many years until they closed. He and his dad continued to work together at Isanti Retail Meats until Dennis passed away in 2015. Troy’s passion for his job and people spanned many shops, including Von Hanson’s, Bradford Roadhouse, and his final position at EC’s Express. He was known for his dedication, skill, and the personal touch he brought to his work, as well as the connections he formed with the people he came into contact with. A proud graduate of Cambridge High School, Class of 1990, he remained close with his high school buddies throughout his life.
An avid sports fan, Troy was a die-hard Minnesota Vikings supporter and had a passion for NASCAR that brought him immense joy. He also enjoyed trap shooting, bowling, horseshoes, racing snowmobiles, and hunting. Troy loved riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, further showcasing his adventurous spirit. His love for sports and outdoor activities was matched only by his devotion to family and friends.

Troy you will be missed, I have known Troy since he was born. I started working with his dad Dennis in 1970 Troy was born the next year. They lived in North Branch and had a softball field by their place and Reichel’s played every Sunday, Troy was only 4 or 5 and run around the field swearing at all the players everyone got a laugh, and when he got old enough started working for Reichel’s.

This one is a real hard one to swallow. When youve been friends with someone for more than 40 yrs and suddenly passes away. It hits you pretty hard. We had alot of fun in our day. We shared alot of memories together mostly good some bad and some you just want to forget about. Weve had our fair share of arguments disagreements. But at the end of the day our friendship never waivered. And thats what true friendship is about. Your going be truly missed troy. RIP my old friend and someday will meet up again.

My prayers and condolences to your loved one you’ve lost name Troy Bell! Troy was a very caring, but quiet man. I grew up just down the road a few houses and have lots of fun memories of being around growing up from down the road where he lived almost all memories I have are great. He was one of those guys that if you were at a party and he was there you definitely made it a point to go and say hi and shake his hand and shoot the shit he is definitely, a man of his statue that is going to leave a lasting impact on anybody who has been around him that knows him or who were friends with him! Troy is an outstanding and wonderful man who would take the time for anyone to just shoot the shit or shake his hand and say hello or even give any Intel or information on any question you had about meat and beef jerky dealt with his line of work! Troy will be deeply missed but will always be thought of as one of the great people that have left a lasting impact on us all !!! R.I.P. My Friend
