Mark Peterson was born March 24, 1961 in Fort Lee Virginia. He spent his early years in Virginia before the family moved back to Minnesota. Mark went to school in Princeton and then followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the Air Force. After being discharged he worked in construction. While the majority of his work was in Minnesota, he also spent several years in Alaska.
Mark’s family and friends were important to him. You could sit in a lawn chair and talk for hours while enjoying the summer weather. He used a lot of his carpentry skill helping his parents remodel several homes. Mark loved to cook, and family and friends enjoyed many of his meals. He was very proud of his grandchildren and would show pictures of them to friends and tell little anecdotes about Amelia and Sally May.
He is survived by his wife, May; his step children, Brandi (Jeremiah) Stevens, Bubba (Katie) Szenay; grand babies, Amelia and Sally May Szenay.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Sandi Peterson; and his younger brother, John.
May, Family and other loved ones of Mark’s,
My heart just breaks for you all, such a sudden passing of a very kind man.
Know my thoughts and prayers go up to the Heavens for you all. May the beautiful memories he left with you remain steadfast in your hearts and minds until one day you are reunited again.
Hugs ~ Beth
