Ordeen O. Splittstoser, 91 year old resident of Cambridge, MN formerly of rural Isanti, MN passed away February 4, 2025 at GracePointe Crossing The Gables. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Cross Pointe Church in Cambridge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Isanti Union Cemetery.
Ordeen was born on December 4, 1933, in Weber, MN, to Harvey and Ida Splittstoser. He graduated with the class of 1952 from Braham High School. Ordeen was united in marriage to Merilyn Stone, the love of his life, on June 25, 1955, at the First Baptist Church in Cambridge.
Over his lifetime, Ordeen worked as a skilled tradesman in construction, a farmer and local milk hauler, and finished his career as a home construction contractor building over 50 homes and an apartment complex. His childhood memories include working the fields with a team of horses on his parent’s farm. Ordeen enjoyed tractors, cars, trucks, traveling, camping, and having coffee at the gas station with friends. He always had a cup of coffee in his hand and left a trail of coffee stains wherever he went.
Ordeen will be remembered as a gentle man who helped others with his kind and entrepreneurial spirit. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who lived his faith in daily life through kindness, determination and hard work.
Ordeen is survived by his children, Sheryl Dee, Wendy (Gene) Prigge, Rollie (Peggie) Splittstoser, Julie (Mark) Wolak; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Geraleen Westerberg; sister-in-law, Sharon Blomquist; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; siblings, Robert Splittstoser, Glorian Hein, Claryce Lundahl, and an infant sister.

Ordeen was a special friend during our years at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti, where he and Merilyn faithfully sang in the choir and invited us to family gatherings and weddings. In addition, he became a mentor in helping to construct our first two houses. We thank God for the blessing Ordeen was in our lives.
