Juanita Jean Stewart, 93 years old of Cedar, MN passed away peacefully surrounded by an enormous amount of love and devotion at Rosewood Senior Living in Cambridge, MN on March 1, 2025. She was born to William and Josephine (McDorman) Tackaberry on April 18, 1931, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Juanita married Willis Stewart on March 27, 1947, and remained in Minneapolis. Soon they welcomed three children, Warren, Linda and LouAnn. After an opportunity to move to a place with land, they packed up everything including the house and moved out to Cedar. Here her love for the outdoors, flowers and growing vegetables flourished. She loved the fresh air and anything to do with being outside. Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her greatest blessings were her family. She loved fiercely and was proud of all of her ”kids.” Her goal and passion in life was to spend as much time with her children and grandchildren. I believe she achieved her goal.
Juanita is survived by her children, Warren, Linda(Rod) Johnson, LouAnn (Steve) Bell, grandchildren, Jennifer(Barry) McDonough, Janette(Kerry) Liddle, Robert Johnson, Cassandra Schaub, grandson-in-law, Tim Birkholz; great grandchildren, Shelby, Cody, Austin(Mackenzie), Kayli, Chloe, Ellie, Maddie, Aiden, Jaxson, Bailey, Landon and Mason; great great grandson Walker and loyal companion her dog Mitzy.
Preceded in death by her husband Willis Stewart, parents William and Josephine Tackaberry, infant sister Gloria, sister Beverly, granddaughter Christin Birkholz, grandson-in-law Damien Schaub
I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed stopping by and visiting with Juanita. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest condolences and Prayers go out to you, Warren, Linda & Lou. Your Mom, my Aunt Nita was such a kind & loving person and though we had not seen each other since my Dads memorial service, I will truly miss her. She had a wonderful laugh and a heart of gold. I am so sorry I have to work tomorrow, so cannot attend her service, But what makes me smile a bit is knowing she is reunited with Uncle Willie, my Mom & Dad and Tony & Bill. The group is back together again! Rest In Peace Aunt Nita. 🙏🏻💗
Mom what can I say. I love you and I miss you so much. You have left us kids a legacy that we will try to continue as long as we live.
