Dakota “Kodee” Lynn Turnvall
September 8, 2025-November 25, 2025
Our precious Dakota passed peacefully, snuggled up with her Mama and Daddy, surrounded by love. She was so strong and resilient during her health battles, often to everyone’s surprise. She was a fighter! She was cared for by the amazing team at Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Kodee brought immense joy to everyone who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her Grandpa, Mitch Turnvall, Great-Grandparents-Hallis & Florence Parent, Robert & Gladys Hogoboom, Kenneth & Marcella Milz, and LaVerne and Shirley Turnvall.
She will be cherished forever and is survived by her parents, Jesse & Conlee Turnvall, Grandma Nancy Parent, Grandma Mitzi Turnvall, Grandpa Bob (MaryPat) Hogoboom, Auntie Devon (Dean) Riveness, Aunt Kelly (Chris) Fedun, Uncles-Josh (Tanya) Hogoboom, Adam Hogoboom, and Shawn Turnvall. Big cousins who adored her-Kaiah, Brynley, & Ashtyn Riveness, Cole Hogoboom, & Austin Hogoboom. As well as many more family & friends.
She was an angel here on Earth, but God had a greater plan for her. Although we only got 79 short days with her, Kodee’s presence and light will continue to be a bright spot in this world. She taught us so much and led so many people to Jesus through prayer.
She touched my heart with her strength every day and led me to start having regular conversations with God again. Please know that she touched many souls here on Earth that will never forget her. 🙏
