
Timothy H. Gleason, 74-year-old resident of Cambridge, MN, passed away November 19, 2025 at Cambridge Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 11 AM, December 12th, 10 AM visitation at South Isanti Baptist Church with a small lunch after the service.
Full Military Honors in his honor 10:00 AM, December 4, 2025 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, please arrive at 9:45 AM in assembly area #2.
Timothy was born on December 21, 1950 in Minot, ND to Howard and Alvina Gleason. He was drafted into the US Army on April 21, 1970 and served in the Vietnam War. He was medically discharged on December 21, 1971. He was united in marriage to Shawna Johnson on July 14, 1979 and had 2 children, Leah and Lucas. He spent most of his years working as a union plumber. Timothy was the most kind, giving man you could find. He was a jack of all trades who could fix almost anything and had every tool to do it. He loved going fishing, weekly cards with friends, collecting agates and monthly game nights at his daughters with all his grandkids and great grandkids!
Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Shawna Gleason (Johnson); daughter, Leah (Brad) Johnson; 8 grandchildren, Jessica (Chris), Travis (Mary), Tony, Dylan (Ellie), Gunnar (Travis), Gloria (Mason) Kimber and Donovan; 4 great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Olive, Eden and Avis; sister, Vivian; 2 brothers-in-law, Michael and Bradley (Katie); many nieces and nephews and extended family; 2 of his closest friends, Mike and Ronnie; and many others.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Alvina; father-in-law, Rubin; mother-in-law, Geraldine; son, Lucas Gleason; brother, Paul; sister, Diane; brother-in-law, Steven; 3 sisters-in-law, Judy, Cindy and Carol; and 2 nephews, Jason and Eric.
I am so sorry to hear this. Tim was a wonderful soul. Always willing to help someone out. My prayers are with Shawna and Leah and all of his family.
Tim is a friend of mine. For the whole time, I’ve been in Cambridge and he’s always been a great man to me a good friend. This can be surely missed, but he’s with the Father so he is ok.
