Jeffrey Blaine Miller, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on January 2, 2026. There will be no public service held at this time.
Jeff was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1960 to Gilman and Audrey Miller, both of whom preceded him in death. He grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Coon Rapids Senior High School in 1979. From an early age, Jeff loved sports, especially hockey and football, and he carried that enthusiasm with him throughout his life.
Jeff dedicated 33 years of his life to Seasonal Specialties in Eden Prairie, where he was the Warehouse Manager. His career was more than just a job, it was a place where he lived out his purpose of serving others. Jeff was deeply respected and genuinely loved by everyone around him. He was known as someone who would quietly step in, solve problems, and make things better for those around him without ever seeking recognition. His dedication, reliability, and steady presence made a lasting impact on countless coworkers over three decades.
At the core of who Jeff was, was a servants heart. He found purpose and fulfillment in helping others, supporting those he loved, and doing things the right way. Jeff was meticulous in every aspect of his life, not out of perfectionism, but out of care. He believed that doing things well was a way of honoring others. Whether at work, at home, or in his everyday life, Jeff showed love through his selfless acts.
Above all else, Jeff’s greatest love was his wife, Char. Married for more than 26 wonderful years, Jeff and Char shared a deep, steadfast bond and built a beautiful life together in their home in Isanti, Minnesota. Jeff adored Char and showed his love through unwavering devotion, quiet strength and constant support. Serving Char was never a duty to him, it was his greatest joy. His love for her was evident in everything he did, and she was truly the center of his world.
Jeff also found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved Winter, especially a good Minnesota snow storm, and enjoyed snowmobiling, skiing, fishing, gardening, and working with his hands. A master carpenter, Jeff had an incredible ability to build, fix, and create, always ready to lend his skills to help someone else. He also took pride in making amazing homemade Maple syrup, a labor of love that reflected his patience and care. Jeff had a deep love for all animals and treasured the many pets he had throughout his life, each one holding a special place in his heart. Jeff deeply loved their two dogs, Nelly and Teddy, who were cherished members of the family.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Char; his siblings, Marcie, Nancy, Steve and Julia; and many extended family members, friends, and coworkers whose lives are better because they knew him. He was preceded in death by his brother Michael, as well as his parents.
In a fitting tribute to his love for Winter, Jeff’s ashes will be spread during a Minnesota snow storm, one of the many things that brought him peace and happiness.
Jeff will be remembered for his selflessness, humility, and unwavering devotion to serving others and loving his wife. His legacy is one of quiet strength, deep kindness, and a life lived fully in service to those he cared for.
As water reflects a face, So a man’s heart reflects the man
