It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Ray Robyn, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and father-in-law, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 78 at Ecumen North Branch. A memorial visitation will be held from 1 PM – 4 PM Saturday, March 21st at Strike Life Tributes in Isanti.
Dennis was born in Milaca, Minnesota to Arthur and Sophie (Otten) Robyn. He spent most of his childhood growing up in Ogilvie and in 1962 moved to Circle Pines where he graduated High School in 1965. On October 11, 1965 he married Wanda Ringler and they made their first home in San Diego, California. Dennis served his country in the US Navy from 1965 until 1968. They then moved to Coon Rapids, Minnesota where they lived until 1976 when they moved to Isanti.
Dennis worked as a foreman at Vincent Metals in Little Canada and was known for his hardworking spirit, his love of the outdoors, and the joy he found in the simple things in life. He especially enjoyed trap shooting, a pastime that brought him both challenge and camaraderie. He also took great pride in his hobby farm, where he spent many hours working the land and caring for the place he loved.
A lifelong enthusiast of old cars, Dennis appreciated the craftsmanship and history behind every vehicle. Whether admiring a classic car, talking about engines, or sharing stories, it was clear this hobby was one of his passions.
One of his constant companions was his loyal dog, Murray, who rarely left his side and brought him much happiness and companionship.
More than anything, Dennis valued time spent with family and friends. He was a steady presence in the lives of those who knew him, and his quiet strength, and kindness will be deeply missed.
Dennis is lovingly remembered by his daughter Roxanne, his son Todd (Kelly), his cherished granddaughter Sophie, and brother, Wayne (Candy) along with other family members and friends who will deeply miss him. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda, and an infant brother, Roger.
Though he is gone, the memories of time spent together—on the farm, at the range, or simply enjoying a conversation—will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Sending love, prayers & peace in your hearts to Roxanne, Todd, Kelly & Sophie during this difficult time. Remember all the good times with Grandpa, Sophie🩷
