Rae Ann Foley, of Cambridge, MN, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Gracepointe Crossing Senior Living. She was 85 years old, just one week shy of her 86th birthday.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Faith Covenant Church, Burnsville, MN on Friday May 8th, 11am, visitation from 10-11am, and a light lunch to follow the service.
Rae Ann was born April 24, 1940 in Junction City, Kansas. When she was in high school, her family moved to Deepwater, Missouri. She then attended Kansas City Bible College and then Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois where she met Ross Foley from Ontario, Canada. They married July 1, 1962. Her main vocation in life was loving and raising her two boys, John and James, and loving and serving the church family alongside Ross in his nearly forty years of pastoral ministry. For thirty three years, Ross was the lead pastor of Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, MN. Ross and Rae Ann made a great team together, with a simple desire to love others and serve them in the name of Jesus. Rae Ann’s love language was gift-giving, and over the years many received the grape vine wreaths she made or homemade raspberry jelly. Besides homemaking and serving the church, she held a couple of fun jobs. While living in Pasadena California, Rae Ann was a secretary for Jet Propulsion Laboratories, which provided much of the technology for space travel and lunar landings in the 1960’s. Then while living in Burnsville, MN she worked several years at the Granary Antique store in Richfield, MN where she supplied her grapevine wreaths and developed a great skill and near obsession for antique hunting and home decorating.
Rae Ann is proceeded in death by her parents Howard and Grace Reddick, her husband Ross, son James, sister Jana Getz, father and mother-in-law Walter and Martha Foley, brother-in-law and sister-in-law William and Lillian Foley.
She is survived by her son John (Erin) Foley, brother Roger (Caryl) Reddick, grandkids Gabrielle (Erik) Castruita, Joshua Foley, Faith Foley, great granddaughter Andrea, and many other relatives and friends.
Your mother was the most gracious loving woman I have ever met. She made everyone feel like she was their best friend. John you were a special son
