Dennis J. Harris, age 72, of Isanti passed away July 25, 2026 at home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, August 7th at Strike Life Tributes in CAMBRIDGE. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service.
Dennis James Harris was born on July 14, 1954, in Princeton, Minnesota, to William and Gladys (Southerland) Harris. He grew up in Isanti and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1972. He continued his education in the printing trade and eventually owned and operated his own printing business, a career that reflected his hard work and entrepreneurial spirit.
In 1976, Dennis married Sandra Olson, and together they were blessed with two daughters, Tracy and Carla.
Dennis had a passion for NASCAR and rarely missed a race. He was also a loyal fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. Music was always part of his life—whether it was old favorites, classic rock, or John Prine playing in the background. He was happiest surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories around a campfire, enjoying a cold beer on the deck, and making everyone laugh with his quick wit and an amazing sense of humor. Those simple moments became lifelong memories for everyone fortunate enough to share them with him.
Dennis passed away peacefully at home on July 25, 2026, at the age of 72 years and 11 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gladys Harris, and his brothers, Billy, Bobby, and Jim Harris.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Tracy Kimmel (Jeff Rabenort); and Carla Almquist (Zac Christenson) and his sister, Mary Harris; his cherished grandchildren, Abby, Anna, Dylan, Kaden, Elly, and Jo; along with many other relatives and dear friends.
Dennis’s greatest legacy was not found in the races he watched or the songs he loved, but in the laughter he shared, the stories he told, and the countless memories he created with the people he loved. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
So many good stories and times had with Harry! Happy trails my friend until we meet again!!
Carla was my best friend and I grew up with “Mr. Wilson “ (that was my nickname for him after he gave me the nickname Gilly❤️ I have so many fun memories of him making me laugh, listening and dancing to his favorite music on the weekends, always making late night fried snacks. His chili was my favorite. He was an amazing spirit of a man and will be missed 🙏 Love you Mr. Wilson
