Redford D. Herring, age 18 of Cambridge, passed unexpectedly on November 1, 2026. He was born in San Diego, CA, on March 15, 2008. A memorial service will be held at a later date upon the family’s wishes.
Redford is survived by his brother, Levi Herring; his parents, Julia and Justin Herring; his grandparents, Kathy and Dale Herring and Barbara and Terry Barkley; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Redford was part of the Cambridge-Isanti School District and busy working. In his free time, Redford loved to play tennis with his brother, Levi, and go disc golfing with his friends. Music was a huge part of Redford’s life and you would always see him with his headphones on, listening to something. Redford also loved to take time and travel to New York to see family.
Oh Red, I still cannot fathom that you’re gone and how much it hurts. There was so much we had left to do, our first sleepover, many movie trips, late night game sessions, yapping, or even just sitting together doing or saying nothing. You have left such a special place in my heart and my life, and it can never be replaced, without you, I have a hole that cannot be filled. I miss you. Thank you for being my ride or die, my best friend, step brother, and my rock. 10 years wasn’t enough, I needed so much more. Rest easy, Red. Godspeed. ❤️🩹🪽
